Hmmm.....I have been watching. I like it. And then, I think. And then, I desire others to think too. However, sometimes in what I say and speak about I do have intent. The Sandbox blog was one of these. It seems that my intent has been misunderstood and is now being used for exactly that which I was speaking against. This morning I recalled something that is fun and may help to clarify. Though I am aware that what people choose to do with the things they read and see move them and jiggle them in their own manners and I cannot really control that, though sometimes I might wish to do so :D

Dr. Seuss was definitely one of the most influential writers in forming my life philosphies….the Sneetches is such a great story, rich in relevent concepts. Acceptance of differences….and likenesses. Thanks for posting it!
Just for fun there was poor Mrs. McCave.
Yes. Many never discuss the role of the Fix me up chappy. Do you have any thoughts on him? I will watch the link when we get back from the Pow wow.
The ol' “chappy” seems to me like the shit -stirrer who just gets off on others' misery, or the parasites/predators who will benefit from their ability to recognize weakness in others. The whole story has implications on a global scale as well as interpersonal.
Many ‘shit-stirrers’ are often the greatest of teachers. They are accused as such because they dare to allow learning through provocation of personal experience of the ‘lesson’ rather than handing it over in a nicely wrapped package. It is a great gift to recognize weaknesses in others. It is an even greater gift to direct them to learn and to take their own power and to learn it themselves. If he had given it to them for free, due to popular economics and status that is linked to view of self they never would have learned the lesson. They didn’t learn it of will, they had to trick themselves in the end because they had no money, the chappy left, and they were ‘stuck’. This is how I feel about the Sneetches. It carries teachings about racism, eliteism, economic/class differences. Now I can see also that the Chappy, being big business, is also good at holding off the solution for a while. Maintaining the ‘rift’ in order to make enough money from it. To me honestly all of this new ‘greeness’ from name brand cleaning product business is just that, a fix me up chappy. More to make us happy than having any real impact. It sure does snag at the heads of those looking for a way to feel they have some sort of impact by following though.
