What does being grounded mean to you?

Posted on Jul 7th, 2008 by elisa : Mirror elisa
What does being grounded mean to you?  How do you get there?  How do you know when you are not grounded?  What does it feel like when you are?  Why is there a need for being grounded?  If you do not think one needs to be grounded why not?

Being grounded means to me just that, Grounded… peaceful, conscious, aware of your self and your surroundings. I just had an experience when I became completely ungrounded, and it has taken my days to reconnect. And yes,  I have to go and sit in the grass, I needed to allow the grounding energy to flow into my lower chakra to create balance and peace, not always but this time I did. I had to allow the trees to whisper to me… comfort me. This was after too much social activity with unconscious, hurried world. Not doing my practice, prayer and meditation, journaling as much as may have…I hope that gives you some idea… I am Love, Jeff

Good response too. A good teacher or guide will only provide the question and allow the students to answer…. There are no right or wrong answers.I am Love, Jeff

Elise, do let us know where you stand… its good to ask… but your position must also be clear to all   :)

The problem I see,

If you don't believe in something, you'll fall for anything….

Hi Theone!!!  Thanks for coming to read and to post.  There is a reason that I did not post my personal view in an obvious way.  What I think and believe has no effect upon what others choose to think, to share, or to believe.  I desire people to think for themselves, simple.

That said….when you 'ordered' me that your rules state that my position must be clear to all I laughed very hard.  (That's how I perceived your statement there.)  Who says my personal position must be clear?  I am not looking for anyone to join me or to shut me out.  It simply is.  And I think everyone believes in something, though maybe they do not bother to discern the value that something truly contains.  This led me to the question of the day that I posted this morning.

YAY sharing!!!
