Physical concrete cues, how do you feel about them?

Cues, prompts, triggers--what valuation do you place on these concepts? If you place a high value or reliance upon them, how do you retrain yourself to do what comes naturally when you are without them??

Help

OK, I have NO idea how I'm going to answer this question. I see from looking at your other blogs that you like to get everyone thinking, don't you? Cues, prompts, triggers….I suppose we all use them. We're looking at what people say and sensing the energy behind what they say. So we're really attempting to resonate with what they're actually getting across. But, when without them, I suppose what we must learn to do naturally is center ourselves and let the answer come from our center, from our truest self. We don't really need the externals then. We're answering and acting from our truest knowing, in the Moment, and that's the best we can do. :)
Interesting way to interpret that question!! I hadn't thought of it that way. I thought about it off and on during the day today. I still have not settled upon a satisfactory response. Yes, thinking is gooooooooood. Spinning maybe not so much, but then one thinks to get out of the spin and then it is goooooooooooood. Or it just is and things move along as they do :)
I mean more on the lines of when hot, running water is cool, calming, grounding. Loud sounds close to gunshots can make us jump react… 'Sacred objects” can become rather than being a symbol…some get lost when they are no longer present.
Ahhh, I see your meaning. Yes, it is possible to get lost when they are not present. And I can't imagine not jumping when that gun went off!! You really do ask great questions, and it sounds like you do ponder on them as well. So gooooooooooooooood……….. (giggling again!)
